Join us for a live streaming of the joint Israeli-Palestinian Yom Hazikaron Ceremony, Monday 27th April, 6.30pm 

For the past fifteen years, thousands of Israelis and Palestinians have stood together on Yom HaZikaron/Israeli Memorial Day to acknowledge the pain of those living on the “other side” and to envision a better future together.

This year, since none of us can meet in person, the annual Israeli-Palestinian Memorial Day Ceremony will be held online – so we can join virtually.

The Ceremony is organised by Combatants for Peace and Parents Circle – Families Forum. It began as a small ceremony of 50 people in 2005 and is now the second largest Memorial Day Event held in Israel, with 10,000 people attending the live event in Tel Aviv last year. This year, the ceremony will be broadcast live without a physically present audience. At the close of the ceremony, we will post links to bereaved families, Israelis and Palestinians, who will open their homes for viewers to visit, discuss, or simply share sentiments. The New Israel Fund is proud to co-host this.
