Song Ha'atzmaut with JNF

It’s almost time for Yom Ha’atzmaut – Israel’s independence day – and what birthday celebration would be complete without some music? That’s why this year JNF UK is running “Song Ha’atzmaut,” a unique competition to provide the party soundtrack.

We want as many of you as possible to record yourselves performing a song for Yom Ha’atzmaut. From Israeli pop hits, to traditional Jewish songs, to original compositions, anything goes! Solo singers to family team-ups, acapella to accompanied, everyone is welcome. We don’t expect professional standards – we just want to see your enthusiasm, creativity and talent!

The stand-out submissions will then be judged in an online event on Yom Ha’atzmaut itself (Wednesday April 29), with the best ones receiving some great prizes – including free flights and hotel nights in Israel for when the quarantine is finally over!

So if you fancy yourself as the next Netta or a chazzan-in-training, we want to hear from you. All you have to do is upload your video by 8pm on Monday April 27 and we’ll do the rest!
